If you’re hosting a 4th of July get‑together and want an adult beverage that’s festive and tasty without turning your kitchen into a chemistry lab, I’ve got you covered. Here are two easy crowd‑pleasers that deliver maximum holiday spirit with minimal effort.
Red, White & Blue Jello Shots
We’re taking a tiny stroll back to our college days — but with better vodka and actual adult supervision.
Ingredients
Red Jello powder
Blue Jello powder
Boiling water
Vodka
Whipped cream
Red, white & blue sprinkles (because… obviously)
How to Make Them
Mix 2 tablespoons red Jello, ¼ cup boiling water, and ¼ cup vodka.
Do the same with the blue Jello.
Pour the red layer into your cups and freeze for about 30 minutes or until set.
Add the blue layer on top and let it set.
Right before serving, top with whipped cream for the white layer and finish with patriotic sprinkles for the pièce de résistance.
They’re cute, they’re nostalgic, and they go down way too easily. (of course, you can make these non-alcoholic as well)
Bomb Pop Bubbly
This one is so simple it feels like cheating — but it’s gorgeous and delicious.
You’ll Need
A box of red, white & blue Bomb Pops
Champagne or Prosecco
How to Make It
Place a Bomb Pop in a glass.
Pour in champagne or Prosecco.
Serve immediately as the pop melts into a fizzy, fruity firework of a drink.
It’s basically childhood summer meets grown‑up sparkle. (the kids can partake in the extra bomb-pops)
Happy 4th of July — cheers to good friends, good drinks, and zero kitchen stress.
